Who we are

Habit Streak (package com.darktech.habitStreak) is a habit-tracking app. Users create habits, check in daily, and build streaks. Optional streak freezes protect missed days. Premium unlocks more habits, auto-freeze, analytics, and social features such as circles, challenges, duels, and a leaderboard. This policy covers the iOS and Android apps and this site.

What we collect

We collect data to run your account. We do not sell it.

Account. Name, email, and sign-in provider (email/password or Google) via Firebase Authentication. A user ID is created for your account. You may upload a profile photo.
Habit and social content. Habit names, descriptions, check-ins, streaks, freeze dates, circles, challenges, duels, friend lists, and messages you post in the app. Stored in Cloud Firestore under your account so they restore on another device.
User ID and device token. Your Firebase user ID and, if you allow notifications, a push token so reminders can reach this device.
Purchases. Premium subscriptions and freeze packs are processed by the App Store or Google Play. We store entitlement status and product IDs. We never receive your full card number.
Usage and advertising. Firebase Analytics records how you use the app. AdMob may show ads to free users and collect a device advertising identifier and ad interaction data.
Diagnostics. Crashlytics records crash logs so we can fix the product.

What we do not collect

Phone number, home address, or government ID.
HealthKit, clinical health records, or Motion and Fitness API data.
Precise or coarse GPS location. Your timezone (for reminders) is not treated as device location.
Your phone address book.
Payment card numbers. Those stay with Apple or Google.

Who processes data

Google Firebase — Authentication, Firestore, Storage, Cloud Functions, Analytics, Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging.
Google AdMob — ads for free users.
Apple / Google Play — in-app purchases. Their privacy policies apply to payment.
RevenueCat — freeze-pack purchases where that stack is enabled.

We do not sell personal information. AdMob uses device and advertising data to show ads. That is third-party advertising, not a sale by us of your habit data.

Retention

Account, habit, and social data stay until you delete the account or ask us to delete it. Crash and analytics events follow Google Firebase retention defaults. Store purchase records remain with Apple or Google as required for billing.

Your choices

Sign out from Profile.
Turn off notifications in system settings and in the app.
Cancel Premium in the App Store or Google Play. Cancelling billing does not delete the Habit Streak account.
Delete the account — see Delete your Habit Streak account.
Email realityclowns@gmail.com for a copy of your data or a deletion request.

Children

Habit Streak is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes in a material way, we will update this page and the date above.
